Valerie's Room

I designed my room with comfort as the ultimate goal.  With this in mind, I made the bed the focal point of the room and selected luxurious Peacock Alley bedding consisting of 500 thread count sheets, a cashmere warming blanket and a quilted satin matelasse topped by a goose down comforter, from which you will never want to surface. The furniture throughout the room is simple, sturdy and with clean lines. A corner fireplace is flanked by a cushioned rattan chair beside which I always keep an ample supply of books and magazines. Directly above the fireplace is a TV/VCR unit. Both the fireplace and TV/VCR can be directly viewed and enjoyed from the bed.

The bath is classic spa style in gray and white marble and contains a shower fitted with an oversized massaging showerhead as well as a giant soaking tub. Please enjoy the terry cloth robes provided as well as the quality bath products.

When you've finished soaking in the tub, you can lounge in the sunporch on the overstuffed chair and ottoman while enjoying the sweeping view and a cup of coffee or tea accompanied by delicious Dutch pastries.
